Mercer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 26-9 to the Tri-County Mustangs. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked the Cardinals' highest-scoring contest to date.
Paisley Wells and Lily Stark stepped up to the plate in a big way. Wells got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, while Stark went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
