Softball Recap: Evans Takes a Loss

Evans lost against South Effingham on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights lost 14-1 to the Mustangs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evans saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kimariya Hinton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Evans' defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for South Effingham, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Evans does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Effingham, they will square off against Greenbrier at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Wolfpack have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups.
