Basketball Recap: Nazareth Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Harry S. Truman last Saturday, Nazareth Academy came back down to earth. Nazareth Academy fell just short of the William Penn Charter Quakers by a score of 60-57 on Tuesday. The loss was Nazareth Academy's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nazareth Academy fell to 3-1. As for William Penn Charter, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Nazareth Academy will square off against Germantown Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Germantown Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Nazareth Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for William Penn Charter, they will welcome Perkiomen School at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
