Soccer Game Preview: Sage Creek vs. El Camino

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Sage Creek take on the El Camino at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Sage Creek will be strutting in after a win while El Camino will be coming in after a loss.

Sage Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Vista by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bobcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Meanwhile, El Camino unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of San Dieguito Academy by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sage Creek's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for El Camino, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-1.

Sage Creek might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from El Camino in their previous meeting two weeks ago. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Sage Creek was down 3-0.
