Point Loma has gone 3-0 against High Tech SD recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Point Loma Pointers will host the High Tech SD Storm at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Point Loma's offense. They fell 2-0 to Cathedral Catholic on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Pointers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Dons are ranked 65th).

Meanwhile, High Tech SD also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mira Mesa on Friday. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Marauders recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

High Tech SD's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Point Loma, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1.

Point Loma took their victory against High Tech SD when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 7-0. Does Point Loma have another victory up their sleeve, or will High Tech SD turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
