Football Game Preview: Coon Rapids Cardinals vs. Park Wolfpack

The Coon Rapids Cardinals are taking a road trip to square off against the Park Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Coon Rapids came up short against Eastview and fell 21-14.

Meanwhile, Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Wayzata and fell 45-3. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Trojans are ranked 103rd).

Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Coon Rapids, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-5.

Coon Rapids didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Park in their previous meeting back in October of 2019, but they still walked away with an 8-3 win.
