Shawnee Mission West had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it nine. The game between the Vikings and the Olathe East Hawks didn't end well, with the Vikings falling 41-22. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.
