With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. SaRod Baker was another major influence, as he rushed for 162 yards and ran in a TD.

Longview pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.1 points per game. As for DeSoto, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
