Recap: Aquinas Falcons vs. Chino Hills Huskies
The Aquinas Falcons lost to the Chino Hills Huskies back in December of 2022, but the Aquinas Falcons didn't allow the Chino Hills Huskies the same satisfaction on Saturday. Aquinas came out on top against Chino Hills by a score of 60-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Aquinas.
Madeleine De Kodia continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Aquinas' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeleine Barker, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Aquinas has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Chino Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Aquinas will be home for the holidays to greet Woodcrest Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodcrest Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 764th, while Aquinas is ranked 157th). As for Chino Hills, they will head out on the road to face off against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Dorado is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
