Basketball Recap: Canyon Crest Academy Comes Up Short

Canyon Crest Academy lost against La Jolla back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Canyon Crest Academy Ravens came up short against the La Jolla Vikings, falling 43-23. The Ravens just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the loss, Canyon Crest Academy still got an impressive performance from Thrisha Boopathi, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Disha Ramachandron, who scored four points.

La Jolla got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Soila Chadwick out in front who went 6 of 14 en route to 15 points. Elena Farrar was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 15 rebounds and five assists.

Canyon Crest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for La Jolla, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Canyon Crest Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-22 loss against Torrey Pines on the 10th. As for La Jolla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-33 victory against San Diego on the 10th.
