Albany entered their tilt with Princeton on Wednesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 on September 6th.

Makena Moffat made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Kaitlyn Bunker was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alexis Seiter, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Albany's record is now 11-1. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Albany didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 win against Platte Valley co-op [South Nodaway/Jefferson] on the 25th. Princeton has also already played their next game (against Braymer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
