Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bainbridge). Everything went their way against the Monroe Golden Tornadoes on Tuesday as the Bainbridge Bearcats made off with a 15-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bearcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Preston Deal looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jake Barber, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Brooks Hines was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Bainbridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monroe struck out six times.

Bainbridge's record is now 2-6-1. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bainbridge will square off against Thomasville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe, they will face off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
