Rockford Christian found their leader in sophomore Odessa Bucciferro, who had nine digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, IC Catholic Prep beat Chicago University 2-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now won six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

IC Catholic Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-19. As for Rockford Christian, their win bumped their record up to 28-5.
