Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lakeside walked away with it. They blew past Northgate 13-3 on Wednesday. Lakeside might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.
Jason Ludnai looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one hit in 14 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Grant Jackson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Micah Von, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
