Football Recap: Cypress Ridge Comes Up Short at Home Against Macarthur + How To Watch

Cypress Ridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MacArthur Generals on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

MacArthur got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Korey Fisher out in front who rushed for 116 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Amari Cano also helped out as he racked up 121 receiving yards.

Cypress Ridge has already played their next game, a 50-16 loss against Nimitz on the 5th. As for MacArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-21 defeat against Channelview on the 5th.
