Basketball Recap: General McLane Lancers vs. Slippery Rock Rockets
General McLane won the last time they faced Slippery Rock and things went their way on Monday too. The General McLane Lancers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 victory over the Slippery Rock Rockets.
Despite the loss, Slippery Rock still got an impressive performance from Cj Sabo, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Sabo a new career-high in blocks (three). Madison Romanovich was another key player, putting up 13 points along with six boards and three steals.
General McLane now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Slippery Rock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.
