Basketball Game Preview: Charter Oak Chargers vs. Covina Colts

Charter Oak hasn't had much luck against Covina recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Charter Oak Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Covina Colts at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Charter Oak is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Rowland, falling 62-40. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Covina ended up a good deal behind Northview on Tuesday and lost 37-18.

Charter Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Covina, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Charter Oak came up short against Covina in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 39-26. Can Charter Oak avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
