Basketball Game Preview: Brentwood School Eagles vs. Westview Wolverines

The Brentwood School Eagles will square off against the Westview Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brentwood School has given up an average of 50.8 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Brentwood School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 74-63 win over La Jolla Country Day.

Brentwood School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Scott led the charge by going 7-for-8 en route to 16 points along with seven boards and six blocks. That's the most blocks Scott has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Lev Feiman, who shot 54% from the field to rack up 19 points and five steals.

Brentwood School was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They are 26-5 when they've passed the ball that well.

Hamilton typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Westview proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Yankees 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolverines have posted since January 28th.

Westview has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. Brentwood School's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-8.
