Soccer Game Preview: Midtown vs. Greenbrier

The Midtown Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Greenbrier Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Midtown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Lovett by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier kept a clean sheet against Harlem on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Bulldogs. Kyle Rodgers had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Wolfpack got from the refs.
