Soccer Game Preview: Moriarty vs. West Las Vegas

The Moriarty Pintos will venture away from home to square off against the West Las Vegas Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moriarty has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 2nd.

Moriarty fell victim to Del Norte and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Knights.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Las Vegas). They put the hurt on Pojoaque Valley with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Isaac Benavidez and Mateo Probst scored all three of West Las Vegas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Moriarty's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for West Las Vegas, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-8-1.

Moriarty couldn't quite get it done against West Las Vegas in their previous matchup back in August of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Pintos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
