Softball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 10-7 to the Keys Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-4 loss on Thursday.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Keys, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Keys beat Commerce by a score of 5-4 later that day.
