Softball Game Preview: Jenkins Warriors vs. Bryan County Redskins

Jenkins is 2-7 against Bryan County since August of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Warriors will host the Redskins at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Jenkins fell victim to Liberty County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, Bryan County also failed to score in their most recent game. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Bryan County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Harvey, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Bryan County now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Jenkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
