Softball Recap: Lafayette County Takes a Loss

Lafayette County fell victim to Holden and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Huskers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lafayette County has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Holden, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette County will face off against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Holden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
