Basketball Recap: College Park Comes Up Short

After soaring to 62 points the game before, College Park was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 45-25 to the Campolindo Cougars. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Marley Young was College Park's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Brady Lyons held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

College Park has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for Campolindo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.

Coming up, College Park will venture away from home to challenge Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Acalanes' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Campolindo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
