Baseball Recap: Marshalltown Takes a Loss

Marshalltown fell victim to Waterloo East and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Marshalltown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Waterloo East, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Coming up, Marshalltown will head out to take on Grundy Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterloo East, they will take on Waterloo West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
