Soccer Preview: Dunwoody vs. Roswell
The Dunwoody Wildcats will square off against the Roswell Hornets at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Dunwoody turned things around against Bob Jones on Saturday. They and the Patriots finished up their match with a 2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for Dunwoody as the squad haven't won a game since March 28th.
Meanwhile, Roswell's contest last Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past North Cobb 4-1. The victory was nothing new for Roswell as they're now sitting on three straight.
They hit North Cobb with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carter Mathis, Alex Barerra, Reilly Chambers, and Jack Burden.
Roswell pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. Dunwoody's draw gives them a new season record of 3-12-2.
