Baseball Recap: Walnut Hills Takes a Loss

Walnut Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions.

Michael Scruggs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Josh Thornton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Walnut Hills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 loss against Little Miami on the 11th. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-6 defeat against Seven Hills on the 11th.
