Walker can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the St. Francis Knights. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

The team relied heavily on Jonathan Griggs, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Trav Tatom, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Walker was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Walker's record is now 12-9. As for St. Francis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
