Soccer Game Preview: North Oconee vs. Flowery Branch

North Oconee is 0-3 against Flowery Branch since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The North Oconee Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Flowery Branch Falcons at 7:30 p.m.

North Oconee fell victim to Mill Creek and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flowery Branch). Their defense stepped up to hand Greene County a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Flowery Branch's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four matches. As for North Oconee, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
