Softball Recap: Blackwell Victorious

Blackwell won the last time they faced Crossings Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Maroons walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Knights.

Emmy Lorg was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Lorg was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lexi Landwehr was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Nina Glass, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Blackwell's record is now 14-17. As for Crossings Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

As of now, neither Blackwell nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
