Football Recap: Central Christian Comes Up Short

Central Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Harvester Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Crusaders fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 28-26 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Crusaders have suffered since October 25, 2024.

Drew Nickelson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 133 yards and a pair of scores for Harvester Christian Academy. Jed Yarnall was another key player, picking up 156 receiving yards and one TD.

Central Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Central Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-21 defeat against New Creation Christian Academy on the 31st. As for Harvester Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 61-46 loss against Community Christian on the 31st.
