Troy is 0-8 against Franklin since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. Troy proved they can win big back in September (they won by 24) and last Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Sammie Taplin, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Thankfully for the Trojans, Jayden Jackson (who rushed for 286 yards and four scores while picking up 17.9 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
