Football Recap: St. Agnes Starts Season with Defeat at Home

St. Agnes unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Johnson Governors and fell 57-30. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Aggies came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Governors are ranked 256th).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Agnes will welcome Minneapolis North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson, they will host St. Croix Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
