Soccer Game Preview: Worth County vs. Echols County

The Worth County Rams will face off against the Echols County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Worth County turned things around against Irwin County last Thursday. Neither they nor the Indians could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for Worth County as the squad haven't won a game since March 14th.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Echols County finally came back down to earth two weeks ago. They came up short against Atkinson County, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Echols County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Atkinson County are ranked 82nd).

Worth County's draw makes their record 3-13-1 this season. As for Echols County, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
