Soccer Recap: Fresno Takes a Loss

Fresno lost against McLane back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fresno Warriors came up short against the McLane Highlanders, falling 6-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Warriors were already down 4-1.

Aylin Villegas and Melody Vallenzuela scored all three of Fresno's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Fresno's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for McLane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5-1.

Fresno didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Sunnyside on the 24th. As for McLane, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Hoover on the 24th.
