The loss snapped the Magic's 5-game winning streak.

Nate Weber. The junior halfback ran for one touchdown.
Jake Olson made a difference for Monticello. The junior ran for one touchdown.
MHS's lone touchdown came on a 37-yard run by Olson in the fourth quarter.
RHS entered the contest giving up 20.6 points per game this year.
The Royals also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 31-7.
The victory was a step in the right direction for Rogers, which was coming off a 28-14 defeat at the hands of St. Michael-Albertville in its previous game. The defeat comes as a step back for Monticello, which notched a 21-7 victory over Big Lake in its previous outing.
Monticello (5-1) will play a non-conference game against Willmar next week, while Rogers (5-1) will take on Denfeld also in a non-conference game.
