Baseball Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy Lions vs. Brentwood War Eagles

Westminster Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Brentwood recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will head out to square off against the War Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Westminster Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Brentwood will be coming in after a defeat.

While Westminster Christian Academy's victory against John Hancock Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Rebels 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Westminster Christian Academy's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was David Norris, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Brentwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of John Milledge Academy by a score of 10-9.

Brentwood's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Westminster Christian Academy suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Brentwood when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
