On Saturday Lincoln County's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the White Pine Bobcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lynx have posted since October 18, 2024.

Despite the loss, White Pine still got an impressive performance from Presley Skadburg, who had 12 digs.

Lincoln County's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for White Pine, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Lincoln County and American Heritage Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on September 4. This will be the Lynx's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for White Pine, they will take on GV Christian at 5:00 p.m. on September 12.
