Basketball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

Uniontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 70-28 defeat at the hands of the Albert Gallatin Colonials. The Red Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Uniontown's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Albert Gallatin, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Uniontown will welcome Brownsville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Brownsville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Uniontown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Albert Gallatin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-30 win against Gateway on the 21st.
