Baseball Game Preview: Shaw Raiders vs. Callaway Cavaliers

Shaw hasn't had much luck against Callaway recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m.

Shaw is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Thursday. They came out on top against Marion County by a score of 7-2. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Jeremiah Lovett was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Dylan Lockhart was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Callaway's season-opener on Thursday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor Northgate could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 tie.
