Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Hill). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-21 win over the Piper Pirates. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Broncos just coasted through the last quarter.

Jordan Miller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 148 yards and two scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 116 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes. What's more, he racked up 148.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Hank Kotchavar also helped out as he racked up 124 rushing yards.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Roman Byers, who picked up 81 receiving yards, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Piper also got a significant boost from Trent Rymer, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

Spring Hill's record is now 3-1. As for Piper, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Spring Hill will take on Ottawa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cyclones' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Broncos' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Piper, they will face off against Leavenworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The PIONEERS will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
