Drew Charter dropped down to 3-4 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost  14-7 to the Miller Grove Wolverines. Drew Charter was not able to make up for their  defeat to Miller Grove from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
  Bernice Christy and  Anaysa Glover stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Christy  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Glover  went 1-for-3 with five  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chrissy Bennett, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
As for Miller Grove, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Considering they have won six contests by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
On Miller Grove's side,  Mariah Presley was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   nine  hits. Presley was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. Presley is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   snagged at least one every time she's  taken the field this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  JaNiya Smith, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Armonie Morrison was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Drew Charter is set to  challenge  their familiar foe South Atlanta  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Miller Grove will  take on  rival Columbia  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
