Who had Pennsylvania's best individual performances? You vote, you decide. MaxPreps is proud to sponsor the Pennsylvania Athlete of the Week awards during the 2024-25 school year.

Each week during the season (regular and post), there will be a fan-generated contest to tab weekly winners. Each winner receives a digital award patch for their MaxPreps player page. 

How does it work?

Nominees are selected from statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may request their free account here. Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll. Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day along with the next week's nominees.

Week 34 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Becca Varhula, George Washington (Philadelphia) Softball
Senior struck out 56 batters in a win over Central and losses to Northeast and Franklin Towne. Is 8-3 this season with 179 Ks (ranks ninth in the state).
 
* Tadd Lusk, South Williamsport Baseball
Senior went 6-for-6 and had seven stolen bases, five runs, two doubles and a RBI in a 17-7 win over Wyalusing Valley. Currently batting .5778 with 30 hits, 25 runs, 17 RBI, six doubles and state-leading 37 stolen bases. Career .415 hitter with 80 hits, 63 runs, 47 RBI, 20 doubles and 54 stolen bases.

Week 35 Pennsylvania High School Athlete of the Week Nominees

* Katie Ledwich, Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown) Softball
Senior went 9-for-14 with nine runs, 21 RBI and six home runs in wins over United, Greater Johnstown and Northern Cambria (two). Was 3-for-3 with three HRs in the win over United. Career .528 hitter with 130 hits, 136 RBI, 104 runs, 33 home runs and 26 doubles.
 
* Madelyn Vogan, Sharon Softball
Sophomore had back-to-back-to-back two-home run games in wins over Jefferson Area, Oil City and Hickory. Followed that with one dinger in a win over Slippery Rock. Was a combined 12-for-16 in the four games with 19 RBI, seven runs and seven HRs (including a grand slam). Also went 4-0 on the mound in the four games with 49 Ks. Batting .673 this season with 35 RBI, 27 runs and 12 HRs. Is 15-0 with a 0.36 ERA and 188 Ks.
 
* Rose Dennstaedt, West Shore Christian Academy (Shiremanstown) Girls Lacrosse
Senior scored 10 goals in a game (for the third time this season) and added five assists in a win over Coventry Christian. Had eight goals in a loss to York Catholic. Her 87 goals this season currently ranks fourth in the state, while her 107 points rank fifth.
 
* Nick Petrie, New Oxford Boys Lacrosse
Junior had nine goals and three assists in a 23-5 win over Red Land. His 65 goals and 129 points currently rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in the state. Has 114 career goals and 157 points.
 
* Zach Koons, Crestwood (Mountain Top) Boys Volleyball
Junior had 48, 35 and 25 assists in wins over Valley View, North Pocono and Abington Heights. His 623 assists currently rank fourth in the state this spring, while his 44 services aces rank third.
 
* Thomas Becker, Bodine (Philadelphia) Baseball
Senior improved to 7-0 this season by striking out 18 batters in a 10-0 win over Simon Gratz. Has K’d 65 this spring.
 
* Tilly Conner, Oakland Catholic (Pittsburgh) Girls Lacrosse
Sophomore scored 24 points in wins over Greensburg Salem and Franklin Regional  and a loss to Hampton. Has 46 goals and 57 points this season.
 
* Bryce Conklin, Blue Ridge (New Milford) Boys Volleyball
Junior had 30 and 21 digs in wins over Dallas and Hazelton Area. His 321 digs currently rank third in the state this spring.

Week 1 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* AJ Hurst, Garden Spot (New Holland, Pa.) Football
Senior completed 21-of-34 attempts for 462 yards and six TDs in a 71-64 loss to Notre Dame-Green Pond. Also had seven tackles and returned an interception 81-yards for a TD.

* Julia Chunta, Forest Hills (Sidman, Pa.) Volleyball
Senior had 99 assists in seven matches as the Rangers opened the season undefeated. Has 2,862 career assists and 490 digs.

Week 2 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Aubrey Ward, Downingtown East (Exton) Volleyball
Senior had 38 and 32 assists in back-to-back wins over Perkiomen Valley and Mt. St. Joseph Academy, respectively. Her 163 assists currently ranks third in Pennsylvania.
 
* Michael Price, Central Bucks East (Doylestown) Football
Sophomore carried the ball 34 times for 191 yards and five TDs in a 42-26 win over Cheltenham.
 
* Jillian Deivert, Shikellamy (Sunbury) Girls Soccer
Senior had back-to-back five-goal game in wins over East Juniata and Hazelton Area. Her 27 points and 12 goals both lead the state.
 
* Cassidy Stancombe, Ferndale (Johnstown) Volleyball
Senior had 31 and 30 digs in back-to-back wins over Conemaugh Valley and Portage.

Week 3 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Braxtyn Brown, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg) Football
Senior surpassed 3,000 career rushing yards with 401 and five TDs on 20 carries in a 44-14 win over Montrose.
 
* Jacob Van Lierop, Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli) Boys Soccer
Senior surpassed 150 career points with a string of three straight four-goal games in wins over Jim Thorpe, Palisades and Notre Dame-Green Pond. His 22 goals this season leads the state and ranks third nationally, while his 51 points ranks first in the state and sixth nationally.  
 
* Brayden Booher, Lakeview (Stoneboro) Football
Senior had 17 tackles, including 9.5 TFL, and carried the ball 21 times for 103 yards and two TDs in a 31-29 loss to Saegertown. Has 15.5 TFL in three games.

Week 4 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Lauren Beamer, Western Wayne (Lake Ariel) Volleyball
Junior went over 500 career kills and 100 career digs with 20 and eight, respectively, in a 3-2 win over Abington Heights. Has 106 kills this season.  
 
* Kaden Carpenter, Forest Hills (Sidman) Boys Soccer
Senior had 14 goals and five assists in wins over United, Central Cambria and Greater Johnstown. His 53 points and 22 goals currently rank 14th nationally. Has 174 career points (69 goals and 36 assists).
 
* Trey Wingard, DuBois Football
Junior completed 23-of-37 passes for 370 yards and five TDs in a 46-43 win over Karns City. Last week completed 13-of-20 passes for 274 yards and five TDS in a 61-7 win over Bradford. His 1,179 passing yards ranks third in the state this season.

Week 5 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Hasan Strandzhev, Moravian Academy (Bethlehem) Boys Soccer
Senior had 19 points (nine goals and an assist) in wins over Palmerton and Pen Argyl. His 22 goals and 52 points rank fifth and sixth in the state, respectively. Both tallies are also Top 50 marks nationally. Closing in on 100 career points (has 96).
 
* Lola Wojciechowski, Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth) Girls Soccer
Senior had 31 points (13 goals and five assists) in wins over Berwick, Pittston and Hazleton Area. Her 24 goals and 54 points both rank fourth in the state and are Top 45 marks nationally. Has 172 career points (77 goals and 18 assists).

Week 6 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Kalina Powell, Brockway Volleyball
Senior had 24 kills in a win over Kane and 23 in a win over Cameron County. Her 276 kills ranks second in the state this season.
 
* Dylan Depp, Penns Manor (Clymer) Football
Junior had 21 tackles (10 solo) in a 22-16 win over Conemaugh Township. His 88 tackles rank second in the state and 16th nationally. 

Week 7 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Tommy Clark, Dunmore Boys Soccer
Senior had 18 points (eight goals and two assists) in wins over Mid Valley and West Scranton. His 79 points this season rank second in the state and 24th nationally.
 
* Autumn Clewell, Lehighton Volleyball
Junior went over 500 assists this season with 47 in a win over Nativity BVM. Also had 41 assists in a win over Pocono Mountain West. Her 504 assists rank ninth in the state.
 
* Kali Ayres, Troy Volleyball
Senior surpassed 700 career digs with 23 in a win over Loyalsock Township. Also had 33 digs in a loss to Northeast Bradford.

Week 8 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Brady Collins, Clearfield Football
Senior carried the ball 27 times for 170 yards and five TDs in a 41-21 win over Richland. His 1,860 yards rushing this season currently ranks fourth nationally, while his 30 TDs ranks fifth. Career numbers are 4,411 yards rushing and 64 total TDs.
 
* Jackson Vacanti, Greensburg Central Catholic Boys Soccer
Senior had 22 points (nine goals and four assists) in wins over California and Chartiers-Houston. Has 52 points (21 goals and 10 assists) this season.



* Lily McCarty, Sullivan County (Laporte) Girls Soccer
Junior had four goals in a 4-3 win over Meadowbrook Christian and three goals in a 3-1 win over Jersey Shore. Has 60 points (27 goals and six assists) this season.
 
* Ashton Walk, Tyrone Football
Senior completed 17-of-18 passes and went over 7,000 career passing yards with 314 and five TDs in a 55-19 win over Central Cambria. Also carried the ball four times for 28 yards and a TD. Career numbers are 7,083 passing yards, 77 passing TDs, 411 yards rushing and 11 TDs.

Week 9 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Caileb Howse, Lampeter-Strasburg Football
Senior carried the ball 15 times for 323 yards and seven TDs and completed 4-of-5 passes for 55 yards and a TD in a 62-14 win over Twin Valley. Has rushed for 1,030 yards and 18 TDs and thrown for 1,148 yards and 11 TDs this season.
 
* Jase Ferguson, Central Clarion (Clarion, Pa.) Football
Senior had 590 total yards (537 passing and 53 rushing) and completed 36-of-42 passes for six TDs in a 55-0 win over Redbank Valley. His 3,046 total yards currently rank second in Pennsylvania and 16th nationally. Career numbers are 11,504 total yards, 9,405 yards passing and 2,099 yards rushing. Has accounted for 167 total TDs.
 
* Bella Boylan, Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre) Volleyball
Junior had 31, 23, 18 and 15 kills in wins over North Pocono, Western Wayne, Tunkhannock and Wyoming Valley West. Has 238 kills this season and 494 in her career.
 
* Alex Marfink, Sheffield Football
Senior had 26 tackles (19 solo), five TFL and three sacks in a 36-8 win over Bucktail. Has 168 tackles, 16 TFL and 10 sacks this season.

Week 10 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Raven Albrecht, Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia) Volleyball
Senior had had 55 and 44 assists in wins over Methacton and Spring-Ford. Her 866 assists this season currently rank second in the state. Career numbers read 1,874 assists, 771 digs and 286 aces.
 
* Ben Walsh, Souderton Football
Junior completed 18-of-28 passes for 326 yards and five TDs and also ran for a TD in a 47-21 win over Upper Dublin.
 
* Jeremiah Davis, Lewisburg Football
Senior carried the ball 19 times for 337 yards and five TDs in a 49-28 win over Mifflinburg. Has 1,641 yards rushing and 21 TDs this season. Career numbers are 2,752 yards rushing and 33 total TDs.

Week 11 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Max Gallagher, Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Rimersburg) Football
Junior had 336 all-purpose yards and five TDs in a 57-30 win over Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley.
He carried the ball 16 times for 224 yards and two TDs and caught four passes for 112 yards and three TDs. Also added 10 tackles, including a sack.
 
* Josh Louk, Jim Thorpe Football
Junior had 327 all-purpose yards and four TDs in a 56-27 loss to Southern Lehigh. He caught 10 passes for 250 yards and three TDs and carried the ball eight times for 77 yards and a TD. Also made 11 tackles (seven solo). Has 2,390 career yards (including 1,180 receiving), 20 TDs and 124 tackles.

Week 12 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Quincy Swaim, Bedford Football
Senior carried the ball 36 times for 268 yards and three TDs in an 18-0 win over Berlin Brothersvalley. Has rushed for 1,637 yards and 19 TDs this season and has thrown for 792 yards and six TDs.
 
* Logan Steele, Shamokin Area (Coal Township) Football
Sophomore completed 14-of-29 passes for 273 yards and four TDs in a 28-27 win over Jersey Shore. Has thrown for 1,684 yards and 24 TDs this season.
 
* Maura Oslosky, Greensburg Central Catholic Volleyball
Senior had 32 and 30 assists in back-to-back wins over Clarion-Limestone and West Branch. Has 509 assists and 79 aces this season.

Week 13 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Isaac Ryon, Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville) Football
Junior carried the ball 21 times for 303 yards and thee TDs, had two interceptions and kicked a field goal in a 47-46 loss to Muncy. Finished the year with 1,718 yards rushing and 25 TDs.
 
* Wyatt Ehrenzeller, Juniata (Mifflintown) Football
Senior threw for 263 yards and four TDs and ran for 53 yards in a 27-7 win over Shamokin Area. Has thrown for 1,628 yards and 23 TDs and rushed for 255 yards and seven TDs this season. Career numbers are 3,381 passing yards and 63 total TDs (accounted for).
 
* Tyler Reinhart, Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg) Football
Junior had six tackles, three interceptions, two pass deflections and forced a fumble in a 26-14 win over Mechanicsburg.
 
* Eli Zimmerman, Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli) Football
Senior went over 2,000-yards for the season with 222 and two TDs on 17 carries in a 49-7 win over Conwell-Egan Catholic. Averaging 13.1 yards per carry this season (2,062 yards on 158 carries). Has scored 32 total TDs.

Week 14-15 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Jude Correa and Nathan Desmond, Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston) Wrestling
Senior tandem won titles at the annual Walsh Ironman Wrestling Tournament (Correa at 215 and Desmond at 126).
 
* Isaac Ellsworth, Uniontown Boys Basketball
Junior drilled 10 three-pointers en route to scoring 37 points in an 81-63 win over Thomas Jefferson. Averaging 22.3 points and 3.7 rebounds.

Week 16 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Trey Keating, Nativity BVM (Pottsville) Boys Basketball
Junior had 35 points and nine rebounds and 30 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and five steals in wins over Marian Catholic and Weatherly respectively. Leads the state in scoring (31 points per game).
 
* Grady Snyder, Central Cambria (Ebensburg) Boys Basketball
Senior had 17 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and four steals in a 69-66 win over Richland. Also had 14 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and five steals in a 65-38 win over Bedford. Has 776 career points, 292 rebounds and 136 assists.

Week 17-18 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Greg Schilling, Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo) Boys Basketball
Senior hit 10 three-pointers (scored 32 points) in an 84-72 win over Paw Paw. Averaging 15.7 points. His 39 made 3s this season currently ranks second in the state.
 
* Makayla Presser-Palmer, Northwestern (Albion) Girls Basketball
Junior had 34 points and 18 rebounds in a 50-36 win over General McLane and 34 points and 13 rebounds in a 51-16 win over Conneaut. Also had 33 and 28 points in wins over North East and Corry, respectively. Averaging 27.8 points (ranks 31st nationally), 10.1 rebounds, three steals, 2.9 assists and 1.9 blocks. Career numbers read 1,355 points, 669 rebounds, 209 steals and 156 assists.
 
* Annsley Baker, Beaver Girls Basketball
Sophomore had 93 points, 32 rebounds, 13 assists and 14 steals in a wins over Mohawk Area, South Range, Boardman and Hopewell. Averaging 22 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.9 steals.

Week 19 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Haley Litzelman, North Penn-Liberty (Liberty) Girls Basketball
Junior had a triple-double (22 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and nine steals) in a 50-25 win over Sullivan County. Also had 32 points and eight rebounds in a 54-42 loss to Canton and 15 points, 12 rebounds and six steals in a 41-36 win over Williamson. Averaging 18.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 5.1 steals and 4.3 assists.
 
* Dylan McGonigal, West Branch (Morrisdale) Boys Basketball
Junior dropped 35 points and had 11 steals in an 84-54 win over Curwensville. Averaging 15.8 points, 3.7 steals and 2.1 assists.

Week 20 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Dominic Cox-Giles, Quaker Valley (Leetsdale) Boys Basketball
Senior had a triple-double (12 points, 22 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals) in an 81-48 win over Sto-Rox. Also had a double-double (22 rebounds, 10 assists and four points) in a 91-38 win over Eden Christian Academy. Averaging 14.1 rebounds (ranks 2nd in Pennsylvania), 4.8 points, 3.9 assists and 2.1 steals.
 
* Luke Fugazzotto, Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli) Wrestling
Junior improved to 30-0 this season (with 23 pins) by going 4-0 at the Colonial League Championships en route to winning the 189-pound title.
 
* Raegan Wells-Bradley, Science Leadership Academy at Beeber (Philadelphia) Girls Basketball
Sophomore had 32 points, 14 rebounds, eight steals and seven assists in a 52-17 win over Thomas Edison and 31 points and 14 rebounds in a 52-40 win over Paul Robeson. Averaging 29.7 points (ranks 2nd in Pennsylvania), 12.4 rebounds ranks 8th in Pennsylvania), 4.8 steals and two assists.

Week 21 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Jace Casses, Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg) Boys Basketball
Junior dropped 50 points (and had seven steals) in an 87-64 win over Richland. Also had 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 61-30 win over Sharksville Stonycreek. Averaging 22.9 points and 2.6 rebounds. Closing in on 1,000-career points (has 950).
 
* Oumou Thiero, Quaker Valley (Leetsdale) Girls Basketball
Junior surpassed 1,000-career points with 29 (and 19 rebounds, six assists and four steals) in a 68-19 win over Sto-Rox. Also had 13 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks in a 62-28 loss to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and 21 points and 19 rebounds in a 47-18 win over Gateway. Averaging 21.5 points, 15.8 rebounds (ranks 45th nationally), 3.6 steals, 3.4 blocks and three assists. Career numbers read 1,036 points, 773 rebounds, 230 blocks, 143 assists and 142 steals.

* Addison Haight, Kane Girls Basketball
Freshman had 38 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and three assists in a 57-56 win over Port Allegany and 29 points and 16 rebounds in a 53-27 win over Cameron County. Added 15 points, seven rebounds and five steals in a 50-46 loss to Cranberry Area. Averaging 22.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.6 steals and 2.5 assists.

* Hoyt Glenn, McConnellsburg Boys Basketball
Sophomore had a triple-double (12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists) in a 67-44 win over Forbes Road and a double-double (10 points and 11 assists) in a 60-24 win over Northern Bedford County. Averaging 14.4 points, 6.2 assists, 5.9 rebounds, 4.1 steals and 2.7 blocks.

Week 22 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Eve Housley, Somerset Girls Basketball
Junior dropped 60 points (eight 3s) and had eight rebounds and four steals in a 70-58 win over Chestnut Ridge. Also had 36 points and 11 rebounds in a 65-51 loss to Penn Cambria and 30 points and 10 rebounds in a 66-59 loss to Penns Valley Area. Averaging 26.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 3.3 assists.
 
* Qynne Demler, New Covenant Christian (Lebanon) Girls Basketball
Sophomore had 93 points, 14 rebounds and 10 steals in wins over Ephrata Mennonite, West Shore Christian and Harrisburg Christian. Averaging 24.8 points (ranks 8th in the state) and 3.4 rebounds. Closing in on 1,000-career points (has 938).

Week 23 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Gage Jordan, Union (Rimersburg) Boys Basketball
Senior ran his streak of double-doubles to seven straight games with 57 points, 58 rebounds and 19 blocks in wins over Ridgway, Karns City and Commodore Perry and a loss to Redbank Valley. Averaging 12.2 points, 14 rebounds (ranks 76th nationally) and 4.7 blocks (ranks 33rd nationally). Has 16 double-doubles this winter (ranks 98th nationally).
 
* Hoyt Glenn, McConnellsburg Boys Basketball
Sophomore had 28 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and five steals in a 79-59 win over Everett. Also had 15 points, 10 steals and six assists in a 56-43 win over Mount union and 12 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists in a 54-19 win over Southern Fulton. Averaging 15.1 points, 6.4 assists, 5.9 rebounds, 4.9 steals and 2.3 blocks.

* Claire Harvey, Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg) Girls Basketball
Sophomore had 62 points, 22 rebounds, 11 assists and eight steals in wins over Rockwood and Berkley Springs and a loss to Tussey Mountain. Averaging 20.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 2.8 assists. Career numbers are 774 points, 244 rebounds, 142 steals and 126 assists.
 
* Kristin Szymusiak, Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo) Girls Basketball
Senior had 54 points, 15 rebounds and nine steals in wins over Conemaugh Valley and Turkeyfoot Valley Area. Averaging 21.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 steals, 4.3 assists and two blocks. Career numbers are 1,627 points, 582 rebounds, 399 steals, 278 assists and 122 blocks.
 
* Braison Patrick, Clearfield Boys Basketball
Junior had 42 points and 10 rebounds in an 86-56 win over Curwensville and 28 points and six boards in a 62-56 win over Bellefonte. Averaging 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Career numbers are 870 points and 199 rebounds.

Week 25 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Ian McKeegan, Weatherly Boys Basketball
Junior had 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 70-66 win over Notre Dame and 22 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and five steals in a 58-47 win over Northumberland Christian. Averaging 18.3 points, 5.3 assists, four rebounds and 3.4 steals. Career numbers are 723 points, 178 rebounds, 215 assists and 130 steals.
 
* Mani Sajid, Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting) Boys Basketball
Junior had 36 points, eight rebounds, five steals and three assists in a 78-39 win over Neshaminy and 29 points, six assists, three rebounds and three steals in a 72-58 win over Garnet Valley. Averaging 23.1 points. 

Week 26 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Rocco Griguoli, Marian Catholic (Tamaqua) Boys Basketball
Sophomore had 15 points and 22 rebounds in a 63-50 win over Schuylkill Haven and 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 59-55 win over Tri-Valley. Averaging 11 points and 9.1 rebounds. Has nine double-doubles.
 
* Tanner Ashton, Mercyhurst Prep (Erie) Boys Basketball

* Maddox Shaw, Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills) Boys Wrestling
Senior and Ohio State recruit finished his career with a record of 166-14 and a second PIAA Class AAA state title with a victory at 152-pounds.
 
* Violette Lasure and Juliet Alt, Chestnut Ridge (New Paris) Girls Wrestling
Sister duo won back-to-back state titles at the PIAA wrestling championships. Lasure, a sophomore, won her 148-pound title match by tech fall (15-0), while Alt, a freshman, won her 155-pound title match via pin (5:59).

Week 28-30 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Jerek Turlij, North East Baseball
Junior has struck out 49 of the 60 batters he’s faced this season and has two 15-K games in wins over Union City (4-1) and West Middlesex (11-3). Owns a 0.00 ERA and has allowed one hit with eight walks in 17 innings.
 
* Audrey Hale, DuBois Softball
Senior went 3-for-3 with 10 RBI, three runs, a HR, triple and double in an 18-7 win over Cranberry Area. Hitting .522 with 20 RBI (ranks second in state).

Week 31 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Gen Washington-Vasquez, AIM Academy (Conshohocken) Girls Lacrosse
Senior had back-to-back nine-goal games in a win over Delaware Valley Friends and New Foundations.
 
* Rylee Kulbatsky, DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois) Softball
Junior struck out 18 in a five-inning no-hit win over Johnsonburg. Also K’d 21 and allowed one-hit in a 3-0 win over Glendale. Her 135 Ks currently leads the state. Career numbers are 1.22 ERA and 475 Ks.

Week 32 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* AJ Jarzab, Hickory (Hermitage) Softball
Freshman struck out 20 of the 23 batters she faced in a 3-0 seven-inning no-hit win over Jamestown. Is 2-3 this season with a state leading 0.00 ERA. Has K’d 80 of the 123 batters she’s faced.
 
* Katie Bullen, York Catholic Girls Lacrosse
Senior had back-to-back seven-goal games in close wins over Kennard-Dale (19-18) and New Oxford (17-15). Career numbers are 291 goals, 128 assists and 419 points.

Week 33 Pennsylvania High School Athletes of the Week

* Keara Mangieri, New Castle Softball
Senior went 4-for-4 with six RBI, four runs and three home runs in a 14-3 win over Moniteau. Followed by going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs and a home run in a 15-0 win over Mars. Batting .549 with 40 RBI (first in the state), 30 runs and 13 home runs (first in the state) this season. Career .387 hitter with 97 runs, 88 RBI, 26 home runs and 21 doubles.
 
* Malina Letcher, Marian Catholic (Tamaqua) Softball
Junior went 12-for-15 with 21 RBI, 13 runs, five doubles and two home runs in wins over Nativity BVM, Weatherly and Shenandoah Valley (two). Career .383 hitter with 70 runs, 63 RBI, 13 doubles, nine triples and five home runs.
 
* Kennedy Tracey, Trinity (Washington) Girls Lacrosse
Sophomore had 10 goals and an assist in a 12-8 win over Ellis. Has 36 goals this season.
 
* Luc Nguyen, Spring-Ford (Royersford) Boys Volleyball
Senior had 56 assists in a 3-2 win over Haverford and 32 in a 3-0 win over Lower Merion. His 472 assists this season currently rank fifth in the state.
