Baseball Game Preview: Bowdon Red Devils vs. Crawford County Eagles

The Bowdon Red Devils will face off against the Crawford County Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Bowdon is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Vincent just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crawford County). They blew past Chattahoochee County 17-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Crawford County is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Bowdon, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.
