After flying high against Wayne on Thursday, Lenox came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost three in a row.

Lenox's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Crusaders beat Lenox by a score of 15-0 later that day.
