Soccer Recap: Head-Royce Starts Season with Win Against Arcata

Head-Royce gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Arcata Tigers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Head-Royce also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Jefferey Cao and Ibrahim Rashad scored both of Head-Royce's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Arcata's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Head-Royce will be playing at home against The Bay School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arcata, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Sonoma Academy on the 23rd.
