Softball Recap: Seckman Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Seckman took on Oakville on Tuesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 9-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Seckman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Baur, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Seckman has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Oakville, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Seckman will head out to square off against Webster Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oakville, they will venture away from home to take on Pacific at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
