Softball Recap: Holy Innocents Episcopal Comes Up Short

Holy Innocents Episcopal lost against Mount Vernon back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Golden Bears lost 8-1 to the Mustangs.

Holy Innocents Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mount Vernon, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Holy Innocents Episcopal will take on North Springs at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. The Golden Bears are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mount Vernon, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Riverwood at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
