Soccer Recap: Bishop Conaty-Loretto Takes a Loss

Bishop Conaty-Loretto's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Pomona Catholic Pacers by a score of 2-1. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Alanie Hidalgo, who's now up to 18 this season.

Bishop Conaty-Loretto dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pomona Catholic, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3-1.

Bishop Conaty-Loretto wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against San Gabriel Mission on the 23rd. Pomona Catholic has also already played their next contest (against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
