Soccer Recap: Brookwood Comes Up Short

Brookwood entered their game against Duluth on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Brookwood Broncos fell just short of the Duluth Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Broncos couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Charles McDowell, who's now up to six this season.

Brookwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Duluth, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Brookwood didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against Peachtree Ridge on the 11th. As for Duluth, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Parkview on the 11th.
